Phalaborwa Community Radio Station is a community based nonprofit organization registered in terms of the Non Profit Organizations Act 71 of 1997 with the Department of Social Development (Reg No: 019-817 NPO). The organization was established in 1999 and registered as a non Non Profit organization in 2002.

The station was established with the sole purpose of facilitating effective development by creating a communication forum that will disseminate information and educate Ba Phalaborwa communities on issues that will help improve their quality of life. Since its inception in 1999 the station has established tangible relations with reputable stakeholders in the community radio sector, government departments, NGOs and the private sector.

The station is situated at 1318/19 Zone A Municipality Building, Corner Rivonia Street and Impala Avenue Namakgale township in the North Eastern part of Limpopo Province, just a few kilometers (15km) away from the world renowned Kruger National Park.

The station broadcasts in the Ba Phalaborwa municipality covering a broadcast footprint of 100 kilometers on 105.1 FM. The station broadcasts locally to 15 communities within Ba-Phalaborwa municipality.
